Cancellation policy

1. Cancellation Within 48 Hours:

   1. If you cancel within 48 hours, you must pay for the booked lesson.

2. My Illness on the Day:

   1. If I cancel a lesson on the day due to illness, a free lesson will be provided next time.

3. Car Breakdown:

   1. If the lesson is canceled due to a car breakdown, no payment is required.

4. Car Breaks Down Before/On Test:

   1. 50% off the next test car fee if the car breaks down just before the test.

   2. Client responsible for damages if they crash during the test.

5. First Lesson Cancellation:

   1. If you cancel your first lesson without payment or you give me short notice without an exceptional reason, you will not be offered any futher bookings.

6. Payment for New Bookings:

   1. New bookings must be paid for via bank transfer when the lesson is agreed.

7. Cancellation Reasoning:

   1. No exceptions for various reasons, including illness, broken limbs, outer circle family deaths (aunts, uncles, grandparents), forgotten dates, child care issues, college/uni exams.

8. Consecutive Missed Lessons:

   1. If you miss three consecutive lessons without prior agreement, your time slot will be offered to others.

9. Test Cancellations:

   1. If a test is cancelled due to weather, the test day fee to me (£108) still applies, but another test date is sent to you by the DVSA.

   2. If cancelled due to the examiner's unavailability, the fee is still charged, but most can be claimed back with proof.

10. Car Issues on Test:

    1. If the test is cancelled due to the car not being roadworthy, the test fee is refunded. Issues during the test, result in a 50% off on the next car test fee.

11. Car Maintenance:

    1. Car faults during lessons are addressed, and if not dangerous, the lesson continues.

12. Accidents on Test:

    1. You are responsible for damages e.g. if you hit a wall during the test. Insurance handles accidents with other cars or persons.

13. Client Responsibility:

    1. Students are expected to take responsibility for their actions on the road.

14. Lesson Arrival and Payment:

    1. I will text you when I arrive for your lesson. If no reply or no-show within 10/15 mins of the time slot, you will be charged for the lesson.

    2. Lessons won't be rebooked until you contact me.

    3. If no bank transfer for the lesson, then no future lessons will be provided.

15. Policy Agreement:

    1. Students must agree to all aspects of the policy; otherwise, lessons won't be provided.
